 Synopsis
Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw is the remake of Hindi film 'Malamaal Weekly'. The film is directed by Nidhi Prasad. He has selected a
good team for the plot. He along with other crew members have attempted to present the film with finer nuances. Nidhi Prasad needs
to be applauded for moulding the script as a high quality flick.
Bullebbai (Rajendra Prasad) earns his daily bread by selling Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw Lottery tickets. One day, while watching
TV, he learns that one of his lottery tickets sold, won a prize worth One crore rupees. Bullebbai thinks that he is privy to this
information as no one in the town owns a TV and most of them are illeterates. So, he wants to manipulate things and win the lottery.
Later, he comes to know that the winner of the lottery Gottam Yesudasu (Ali) is dead. Bullebbai tries to handle things hilariously and
claim the lottery at any cost. And whether he succeeds in his attempt, is to be seen on the silver screen.
Performance:
Rajendra Prasad did his role well as a lottery seller. His sequences with Brahmanandam and Tanikella are good. Ali did an excellent
job. Rishi did his job well as hero. His romantic sequences with debutant Farzana are fine. Brahmanandam did his best in evoking
good comedy. Kovai Sarala, Venumadhav and M.S.Narayana are brilliant. Kiran Rathod has got a brief role. The others did upto the
content. Music by Chakri is good. Story is interesting. Direction is fine. Screenplay and other technical aspects are impeccable.
