'Manmadhudu' is a love story with good comedy. Nagarjuna looks very elegant. The movie is expected to be a box office hit. Nagarjuna has given excellent performance. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is good. Dialogues by Trivikram are excellent.
Abhiram (Nagarjuna) looks after an ad agency as general manager and Harika (Sonali Bendre) gets appointed by his uncle (Tanikella Bharani) as assistant general manager. Abhiram did not have good impression on love and women. In fact, he hates women but being an ad agency, most of the employees are girls and women only. Once, Abhiram copies the ideas of Harika in his ad for lipstick. Then Abhiram chides Harika without any reason and the latter gets disheartened and decides to resign. Then Harika comes to know about Abhiram and his love story through his uncle. In order to make Abhiram normal, his uncle makes Harika as GM and demotes Abhiram as her assistant.
In the flashback, Abhiram loves Maheswari (Anshu), who stays with her uncle (Chandramohan), a clerk working with Abhiram's grandfather (Balaiah). Abhiram is a nonchalant boy, who enjoys his life by making friendship with girls. Even his grandfather pampers him very much, as he lost his parents in his childhood. Abhiram falls in love at first sight with Maheswari. She too likes him very much. But her uncle fears that it would be a mismatch between a poor fellow like him and a millionaire like Abhiram. So, he attempts to settle another match to her. But Abhiram takes her away from her uncle, saying that he loved her and ready to leave his entire property for her sake. When both of them were returning to Abhiram's house, they meet with an accident and Maheswari dies in the accident. However, Abhi's grandfather tells him that she did not really love him and got married to some other person. This makes Abhiram to develop hatred towards women and comes to a conclusion that girls love boys and conveniently forget them and marry others.
Harika and Abhiram go to Paris to finalise the ad contract, where they understand each other well. Abhiram becomes normal and gets attracted towards Harika. On coming to know that her marriage was fixed with another, he again falls in depression. However, Harika calls him up saying that she loved him very much, just before departing for her wedding. Abhiram chases her and reaches her. They get united in the climax.
Sonali Bendre is excellent. Looks great and gives a good performance. Brahmanandam's character as a French NRI 'Lavanga' is extremely hilarious. Tanikella Bharani as a supporting uncle exhibited good emotions. Right script and right star cast makes this a perfect movie to watch. Songs by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry are good.
