'Oka Oorilo' has a wafer thin storyline. Cinematography of the movie is excellent. It captures all the beautiful locales of coastal villages of AP. Ramesh Varma's direction is slow. There is a huge cast in the movie. Most of them appear only for a couple of scenes. Comedy is good. The movie lacks good story and narration.
Story:
Seenu (Tarun), Lalitha (Saloni) and Ravi (Raja) are childhood friends living in a remote village. Ravi moves to town and loses contacts with Seenu and Lalitha. Seenu and Lalitha grow up together and fall in love. Seenu'a father opposes their love. Seenu and Lalitha elope and land in the city. They accidentally meet Ravi in the city. Ravi gives them shelter in his home. Suddenly Seenu is missing. The rest of the story is all about the lovers uniting.
Performance:
Tarun fits the bill as the fun loving crazy youth. Saloni fits the village belle's role well. Her acting prowess is too good. Raja gave a mature performance. Sunil offers good comedy in some scenes
Music: Music by Devi Sri Prasad is catchy and youthful.
Verdict: Average.
