Synopsis:
'Aptudu' is a remake of Hindi movie 'Ghatak' with Raja Sekhar donning the police uniform Aptudu promises to be an action thriller. Anjala Zhaveri is paired up with Raja Sekhar. Anjala Zhaveri is paired up with Raja Sekhar. Keesara village, 40 kms from Vijayawada, was in for a pleasant surprise when film star Dr Rajasekhar of Ankusam fame came to their village. Rajasekhar, whose Aptudu (the dear one) is nearing completion, chose this tiny village to shoot a song sequence. The backdrop is the 100 ft tall Lord Hanuman statue, considered the tallest of its kind in the world. Says Rajasekhar, "Just look at this magnificent structure. It is awesome. Some days back, I drove to Vijayawada from Hyderabad. I happened to see this structure from a distance. I was dumbstruck by what I saw and decided to use it in my film. And here I am!" The song Palle Palle ku....Hanumadu composed by Ramana Gokula also features yesteryear dancer Anuradha's daughter Abhinayasri, an upcoming artiste. "The film will be released by August end," says Jeevitha, Rajasekhar's wife. Senior artistes like Satyanarayana, Chandra Mohan, Eswari Rao, villian Mukesh Rishi and a host of comedians are playing important roles in the film," said Rajashekar.
