Sree Sambasiva Creations 'Seetharamadu' is an out and out action entertainer that hits all the right notes of action and romance. Hero Sivaji will be seen playing a full-scale action hero for the first time in his entire film career. Up till now, he was playing soft, romantic and comic characters, which were received well by the family audience. This time around, he has changed tracks and shifted gears to play a larger than life character. This is a logical and well thought out attempt to get closer to the masses.
The story in a nutshell, is about a guy who goes to any extent to win the hand of his ladylove. He is prepared to die for the sake of love and is ready to exterminate the lives of the people who come in his way. Ankitha, who was last seen playing a major role in the blockbuster 'Simhadri' alongside Junior NTR returns to the telugu screen after a long hiatus to sizzle in a big way. Already the promos featuring her are making multitude of heads turn and sway in a mouth-watering manner. This a make or break film for her, a hit will ensure her standing goes up in the Telugu Film Industry and a flop will see her play meaningless roles in low budget films. She is the romantic interest of Shivaji in the film.
Director Sham Prasad has put his best foot forward, when it came to the direction of the film. He has a winner on hands. Music director Ramana Gogula, who is on an exalted high after the musical success of the film 'Lakshmi', has come out with pleasing numbers for the film, which is a good sign of things to come. Producer Yelamanchi Ravichand, who earlier produced the hit comedy film 'Aadirindayya Chandram', with Sivaji in the lead, this time, has produced a typical action film in a bid to woo all forms of viewers. |  |
